Associated Faculty
Manufacturing and supply chain management research targets the optimization of production cycles and the strategic design of global logistics networks.
Faculty work on smart integrated processes and manufacturing system modeling to enhance industrial efficiency and sustainability. This research encompasses supply chain design and planning, as well as advanced manufacturing system design and modeling to improve coordination across production and distribution networks. Faculty apply simulation optimization and manufacturing management techniques to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase adaptability in dynamic environments. Emphasis is also placed on resilient supply chain and logistics planning, including strategies to mitigate disruptions and address cybersecurity risks, particularly for small and medium-sized critical manufacturing enterprises.
With a concentration in Systems Management (SMG), the MS in Systems Engineering will prepare you for identifying and resolving problems to minimize their effect on cost, schedule, or performance, and iteratively improving product and process.
